This was an activity I planned for my kids. I really don't know why. They were only required for about two minutes of it. Although we did talk about seasons and the heat of summer. Anyway, here's how I did it: I traced all of their hands onto cardboard and cut them out. I then traced the cardboard hands onto yellow fabric and cut those out. Next, I had Naia draw a circle on the yellow fabric and I cut that out. Then I sewed! I love it and it's now hanging on our wall! I am just learning to sew, so please don't be too critical on that front.
It's awesome!

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful wall-hanging and a great idea. You should be very proud of it! I'm a beginning sewer, too. We're all beginners and learners.
