If it seems like we go to the zoo and natural science museum a lot, we do. They are right next to each other and we have memberships to both. Ever since the weather has been in the 90's instead of the 100's we've been going.

Eaden has recently become interested in dinosaurs! |
The next picture I have to explain. We were in the Energy Hall part of the museum and my sister, Abigail, Eaden, and I walked into this chamber thingy. Well the doors closed and Naia was left outside! There was no exit button and some man just kept talking over the speaker about I don't know what because I wasn't listening. The thing started to shake. Maybe we were going down some sort of shaft. I wouldn't know because all I could think about was Naia alone in the museum! After a few minutes of it not being over, Jamie (my sis) pried the doors open (there was a sign saying specifically not do do this). Naia was standing there just waiting, lol.

Running through the gem and mineral hall. Pitch dark and I didn't know how to take pics. |
Such a cool place...love the tubes sticking up out of the ground - is it meant to give you a taste of prairie dog life? ;-) How scary...stuck without Naia in that thing - what a brave girl she was to just wait patiently for you to return! Glad to hear you're enjoying Kindred. My own copy just arrived in the mail. I may have to read it again!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for going there all the time, it looks amazing! I think your sister sounds wonderful to get that door open, how scary. You have a brave little girl just to stand there and wait. And the picture of Taven with the brush and the goat is priceless! xx
ReplyDeleteOh scary moment-glad all turned out okay! We love museums-just love them. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would go there frequently, because it looks wonderful! I am so glad that your family was reunited after the brief separation!! Scary!
