Joy Pockets

"No matter what is going on in our lives finding the little moments that bring us some joy reminds us what we are here for....to love life. - Monica at Bohemian Twilight. Here are some of my "joy pockets" from the last week.

Old Journals (I didn't know how to spell menstrual)
Gramen Farm
My Niece, Abigail
Finding two library cd's that had been lost for two months!
Coffee in the morning
Beer in the afternoon
My kids' need to follow me wherever I go (this bugs me and yet brings me joy)
Looking through old pictures
Thankful that our beach house doesn't still look like this

...and hoping for a hurricane free year.

  1. I giggled reading your shared journal entry, but I love it! Keeping my fingers crossed for a hurricane free year for you!

  2. I found some old diarys when we moved house a few months ago, there are so funny to read. My favourite is from age 11 when I seemed quite sure that I knew everything I need to know about the world and life and boys! How lovely to have a beach house, wishing you good (hurricane free) weather to enjoy it. and as for kids following you around..I know how you feel!!. I just noticed your quote from Tom Hodgkinson on the banner, I love his book How to be Free, and we'll be seeing him this weekend at the Port Eliot Festival at the "Idlers Academy", He's quite a character. Take Care, Lisa
