Well it was quite traumatic and I know some people will probably think I'm horribly mean, but it had to be done. I simply could not handle her hair. She told me I ruined her life and that she doesn't love me anymore, but that didn't last too long. I just told her I loved her and that she was beautiful.
Oh, she is so beautiful. I'm sorry it was so hard (mostly on you, I'm sure with those words). Sounds like a trip to the store to pick out some sweet hair clips is in store for her. I know that helped my little lady when her hair was cut much shorter than she had wanted.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great, and she is very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBoth of my girls came back from Grandma's sporting "pixie cuts", not my favorite look for them, but they're good with it. Your girl is rockin' that look, but I suspect she'd look gorgeous any which way. Maybe you could get her some pretty scarves to tie around to ease her feelings til she adjusts. I recently found a gorgeous batik silk scarf at a thrift store. Maybe something like that? Or maybe you have some she'd like to borrow?
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!
ReplyDeleteShe likes it now :-) I bought her a headband, some makeup, and a little bag. She's in heaven!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, indeed! And looking VERY grown up :-)
ReplyDeleteOh she is beautiful! I am glad she likes her new 'do!
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBecause she is beautiful!
