And Peace Descends Upon Us

In my last post, I talked about staying home and switching to more of an unschooling style. Oh how happy I am for doing these two things!....at least for some amount of time. I think staying home is what my son needs right now. And unschooling is always welcome of course. We have had abundant happiness on this Tuesday! and it's not even 2 o'clock yet!

I started off the day reading about pioneers and homesteading to Eaden. That led to us baking some pioneer style bread.

Then the kids played in their fort.

 Back to the bread.

I should probably remember to check in on this little monster more often.

Watching pretend t.v. Naia kept turning the channel making Eaden mad.

Then the baby wrecked the fort!

 Rebuilding.

 Dust baths.

Neighbors flowers overflowing into our yard.

Back inside and the dough has risen!

I steamed some artichokes as a treat for the kids to have with their bread.

Here's to more days like this!

  2. Hi Megan, it is so good to find your new blog, I used to read your old blog, I'm Gina (Mia Tarka, Willow and Jahara's mother) you used to read our blog about our yurt life once upon a time too. Like you I went through a phase of not knowing if I should make my blog private or not! For now mine is private, but I'd be happy to send you an invte now that I have found yours again, just email me ash.castree@aol.com if you would like me too :)

I love the busy happy photos in this post, home educating with four young children is never quiet and dull is it!
