So recently I've started "pinning." I was keeping a to do list in google docs when I realized that Pinterest is basically a big to do list with visuals and instructions. Now, of course, I'm a little addicted. However, I found myself pinning and pinning and pinning, but not actually doing any of the things I was pinning. What a trap! I told myself to STOP! Find some of the crafts or activities, ideas, whatever, and DO them. When I told Eaden we were going to do a craft from a website, she asked to look. I entered in "kids crafts" in the search box and let her browse. She found this and I told her we could make it (since I had never pinned it I couldn't mark it off my list)....oh well. Here is what we made.
We started with simple cone hats.
Then added Rapunzel hair.
And then braided the hair. I have to say, the hats have been a huge hit. Maybe I should let Eaden pick out what to pin from now on....
We painted cut up toilet paper rolls.
To create this wreath.
We made fossil cookies.
And giant feet!
Not found on Pinterest, but crafty, the kids colored some white onesies for Mirek. A friend recently gave us three boxes of hand me downs and inside were about 20 white shirts and onesies (not sure where she got them or why lol).
Now that we are on a roll, I'm sure there will be more Pinterest inspired goodness to come soon.
love the cookies
ReplyDeleteI love pinterest too! I am a recent addict. And, I also don't do any of the things I pin. I must say (I think I have told you this a million times) you have more motivation than anyone I know. What a fun mama!
ReplyDeletePinterest is very addictive....its been a while since I was there. I have all these recipes pinned and have yet to cook them. Love the cones with the repunzel hair....my girls would love that! Also digging the fossil cookies.
