Sea World San Antonio

A few months ago, my kids watched the movie A Dolphin Tale. They didn't watch it once, but over and over and over again. We checked out every dolphin book there was at the library, went to every dolphin website, etc. I looked into where we could go so that the kids could see dolphins up close and maybe even get to touch them. Sea World in San Antonio was the closest place. So I started thinking about going and eventually we made it there!

We arrived when the park opened and, just our luck, it was dolphin feeding time!

We walked around looking at the different exhibits.

We went to see the show Azul.

Then it was playtime.

We walked around some more (feeling like giving birth about this time), saw alligators, flamingos, ducks, penguins, sea lions, seals, and more.

Then it was time for Shamu.

Shamu thought it would be funny to soak us.

After the show, it was 5pm and the park was closing.

Plenty of fun had by all.

  1. Wow what a fantastic day out! My youngest two children would love it there, bit too far for us to visit from the UK sadly!

  2. I was in sea world in Ohio about 20 years ago and had a blast!! Love the photo of the kids sleeping in the stroller. I think you exhausted them out!! Dolphins are always my favorite :)
