Beach House and Mardi Gras

After a stressful Thursday and Friday trying to figure out where Eaden would be doing gymnastics, we went to the beach house. Much needed!

I thought we were at a stable gym where we would stay forever, but all of a sudden coaches were lost and the situation changed. We are still not sure if Eaden will stay or go. My main concern is having an established gym where if coaches leave there are still plenty of coaches remaining to handle the situation.

We love her current gym, have had no problems previously, and the coaches remaining are the best. There are just not enough of them...

ANYWAY,

After some contemplation we decided to head into Galveston for the Mardi Gras Parade Saturday night. I was worried about parking, and crowds, and traffic. It was not so bad. My dad's friend has a house there but he does not actually live in it. When we drove past someone was parking out front along the street but blocking the driveway. My Dad said "excuse me but I need you to move so we can get in our driveway" and voila! We are parked!

The kids caught more beads than their little necks could handle.

On Sunday we went to the beach to fly our kite. We had not planned on swimming because it was a little cold, but the kids got in anyway.

Here is Eaden jumping waves and flying a kite!

Now back to choosing a gym. It's a pretty important decision because my daughter spends so much time there. It's like choosing a school for parents who send their kids to school. We shall see. Hopefully, everything works out for the best.
