On A Sunday

Not too much going on around here. I've noticed that I'm much more patient and content with the last stages of this pregnancy than any other. I believe it is because I have a much slower life now. Staying home with the kids, enjoying every moment. Life is not all working and waiting to get off. Every moment is used in the best possible way and I am happy...very happy.

So far today (it's only noon, but I felt like posting for some reason), the kids have been checking out mama's thrift store finds from Friday. A globe (3.99), a bucket of shells (.99), an egg gathering basket making kit (1.99), and some onesies for the baby (1.00 each). I've been on the lookout for a globe and the shells have been a huge hit.

Some early morning outside play before the temperatures rise.

Then back indoors for some collage making and stained glass coloring.

  1. Looks like a very creative morning - your stained glass pics are beautiful. Do you have much longer to wait to meet your new addition? I always felt a mixture of contentment and impatience at the end of pregnancy - like I new I shouldn't be wishing it away but I couldn't help it!! Hugs, Lou xx

    1. well I guess I still wish it away but I'm also still doing a lot with the kids and enjoying every moment...if that makes sense lol. Not much longer. Due date is June 19th but last 2 babies came 1 to 2 weeks early....

  2. love the BM onesie- what a great find! We had a BM teeshirt that both kids loved to wear- it was a favorite- too small now but it's one of the few items I didn't hand down.
