A Blue Jay stuck in the coop.

 My first tomato.

 Ancient History.

Eaden is always writing Naia's name on everything (walls, the fridge, her brother). She must think I'm not very smart.

New Beans

Stop laughing! I know it's only two beans, but hey, we know they grow and we can grow more next time. This is a type of bush bean we grew from seed and planted last month some time.

Veggies

So our first wave of bean plants has pretty much stopped producing, but our second wave has little beans coming up. Our tomatoes are in full swing on all plants and here is our okra! No peppers yet.

Our Garden

Since I quit my job, I have time to garden. Now I don't know much and my family would surely starve if we ran out of oil tomorrow, but I'm trying. I have been reading a lot online and checking out books from the library. I think we have a good start with tomatoes, beans, peppers, okra, and strawberries. I hope to plant a lot more in the fall. Who knows, maybe we can produce a majority of our own food one day. For now, we get about 10 green beans every few days...oh man, we're in trouble.
